survivors dragon boat racing.

beach with friends. Make it an occasion for company team building and
bonding activity!
Established since 1993, this event organized by Four Seasons Hotel,
Singapore & Regent Hotel, Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) in cooperation
with Canadian High Comission aims to raise funds for cancer research. This
annual fund-raising Run is considered the "single largest and long-running
event" for SCS-Cancer Research. Relying soley on the generosity of the
private sector it is focused on providing cancer research grants in
Singapore, hence, the name change to (SCS) - Run For Hope. Originally
inspired by the heroic act of a young cancer victim, Terry Fox who despite
his amputated leg, ran cross-country his native Canada in 1980 to raise
funds for cancer research.

WaterFest By The Bay
Kick-off the festival with us at the WaterFest By The Bay on the 2nd & 3rd
of September at the Kallang Basin. Comprising various events including the
Subaru Action Asia Challenge, islandwide WaterFest Urban Race, the fun,
family-oriented WaterFest Paddles Challenge to the free boat-rides, jet-ski
try-outs, extreme sports performances, outdoor BBQ and more, there is truly
something for everyone!
Islandwide Fun
Set against Singapore's many scenic water locales, the WaterFest Singapore
showcases the unlimitled possibilities for the use of our water resources
for sporting as well as lifestyle activities.
a.. Be there when the Bedok Reservoir comes alive with the buzz and
excitement of World-Class competitions like the HSBC Wakeboarding World Cup,
the SAVA Sprints, and local competitions such as the North East Dragon Boat
Championships.
b. The Marina Bay area acts as the perfect platform to showcase the 1st
IPDBC Breast Cancer Dragon Boat World Championships as locals look forward
to more of such events at the soon-to-be-completed Marina Barrage.
c. Join the crowds and park-goers as they line the East Coast Park where
the challenging New Balance Aquathlon and inaugural FINA Marathon Swimming
World Cup will be hosted.
d. Hop onto to the Splashdown event at the National University of
Singapore and be part of the record-breaking attempt as the participants aim
to get into the Singapore Book of Records.
e. Don't wait! Take advantage of the month-long offers and programmes
offered by the various Marinas as well as at the Pandan and MacRitche
reservoirs by the Singapore Canoe Federation.
